Alberti Brass are committed to the inspiration and education of young musicians and have education programmes designed for infants, school children and university undergraduates alike. They currently have ongoing associations with Waltham Forest Music Service, Royal Holloway University and Anglia Ruskin University. They have recently pioneered a Wider Opportunities programme which culminated in a performance given by the quintet together with classes of 30 children with no prior experience all performing brass instruments.

Our school workshops can be targeted to achieve specific key stage aims. For younger stages, we can offer an entertaining introduction to our instruments. Older years will learn musical terminology and history and in all cases, children will be entertained in a lively workshop of performance, chat and participation.

The quintet can offer packages for GCSE and A Level music students and have assisted in students' composition element, giving advice on writing for brass and performing student compositions. Similarly for university students, assistance can be offered in composition. More broadly, the quintet can offer performance coaching and advice for young performers, drawing on the individual skills and experience of the quintet's professional players.
